The Infernal Journal's first major exposé entails the Trump administration's intent to initiate what seems to be an ill-advised sequel to the Iraq War in Syria. The drastic shift in position after years of Trump advising the previous administration to stay away from Syria via Twitter started with a strange sarin gas attack, suspiciously backed by a scientifically impossible Russian cover-up. The first US strike in response to killing civilians killed even more civilians, including several children, further perpetuating its truly perplexing purpose, in the official sense at least, as there is always oil to be drained in the Middle East. The administrations' full-fledged tomahawk missile assault on a Syrian air base took place days ago and we now await news as to whether or not a boots on the ground invasion is on the horizon with a new war to wage.

The implications of this action can not be understated as Vladimir Putin and the Russian government has been backing the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad's regime throughout the civil war waged by the militant jihadist rebel group against Assad's human right-violating regime. This could lead to total war between Russia and the United States which could result in a third world war in turn. Flashbacks abound to the Bush-era Iraq catastrophe that resulted in a radical group, not at all unlike the one which is fighting Assad in Syria, replacing the overthrown Iraqi leader, later going on to form the world's most infamous terrorist organization, ISIS, in retaliation for the US interference...
